Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 9, 2026
Good Sol Superfoods is operated by Barking Barista LLC (doing business as Good Sol) in Hermosa Beach, California. This page explains what information we handle when you visit goodsol.co, order from us, or contact us.
The short version: we run a juice shop, not a data business. Our website has no accounts and no ad trackers. We use minimal, privacy-preserving analytics (page views and referrers). We do not sell personal data.
What we collect
- Website visits. Our site has no sign-ups and no forms. Our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) gives us aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics — page views and referrers — and keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and uptime. We don't use advertising trackers or cross-site tracking.
- Online orders. Ordering runs on Toast (toasttab.com). Anything you enter there — name, contact details, order, payment — goes to Toast under Toast's privacy statement. We receive the order details we need to prepare and fulfill your order.
- Payments. Cards are processed by our point-of-sale and payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Contacting us. If you email hello@goodsol.co, we receive what you send and use it to reply.
- Social media. If you interact with us on Instagram, that's governed by Instagram's own terms and privacy policy.
How we use information
To prepare and fulfill orders, respond to you, keep the shop running (including bookkeeping, payroll, and tax records), protect against fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations. We don't run targeted advertising, build profiles, or track you across other sites.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that keep the business running: our ordering and point-of-sale platform (Toast), payment processors, web hosting/CDN (Cloudflare), our accounting system (Intuit QuickBooks), and our payroll provider — plus professional advisors (such as our accountant) and authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Internal business systems (QuickBooks)
We keep our books in Intuit QuickBooks Online. Software we operate internally connects to our own QuickBooks company file through Intuit's API to maintain those books. It touches only the company's accounting records (sales totals, expenses, vendors, payroll summaries), runs on equipment we control, stores its access credentials locally with restricted permissions, and does not collect, share, or sell personal information. Customers never interact with it, and the connection can be revoked at any time from Intuit's dashboard.
Cookies and "Do Not Track"
We don't set advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Our CDN may set strictly-necessary cookies for security (for example, bot protection). Because we don't track visitors across sites, our site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.
Keeping and protecting information
Order and business records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, then disposed of. Data moves over encrypted connections (TLS), lives with reputable providers, and is accessible only to the people who run the shop.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices (including California residents)
Email hello@goodsol.co to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it (where the law doesn't require us to keep it, such as tax records). We honor verifiable requests and will never treat you differently for making one.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
